FOLLOW MY JOURNEY TO MOTHERHOOD WITH MOKEE- SIX MONTHS IN...

And just like that I’m nearly six months into my pregnancy, now officially looking pregnant and I’m starting to purchase the bigger ticket items that need to arrive before the appearance of my little one!

I’ve stuck to buying the smaller things, such as clothes and accessories for the nursery, just in case anything was to go wrong, so now that I’m further along in my journey it’s time I think about cots, moses baskets and prams.

I’m opting for the Mokee Mini Cot with the drawer to maximise storage space. I’ll probably keep all of the baby bedding and baby sleepwear in the drawer for easy access. Colour-wise, I’m going to match it to other accessories I’ve purchased for the nursery, so I’m going with Stone Teal.

Mokee’s Natural Soft Sea Grass Moses Basket in Turquoise will be ordered soon and yes, it will be matching the décor of the room. It’s got a traditional yet modern feel to it and it’s made from natural material, seagrass, which is woven to create the basket making it soft yet sturdy and durable. The handles make it easy to transport baby and I’ll be getting the stand too so that I can set baby up high rather than being placed on the floor.

Having done my research I’m now fixed on the Babyzen YoYo pram as it’s one of the smallest around. It has a fantastic range of colours and I’ll be able to attach my YoYo car set to it too in the early days.

The Easter sale has just started at Mokee, with up to 40% off certain items, so make sure you take a look- very helpful when investing in the big ticket products for your baby!
